Aamir Khan Productions praises Adivi Sesh's Dacoit trailer, Sesh calls it a childhood dream come true.

Actor Adivi Sesh is elated after receiving a special shoutout from none other than his childhood idol, Aamir Khan. The trailer of Sesh’s upcoming film Dacoit, set to release on April 10th, has been garnering attention across platforms, and the latest appreciation from Aamir Khan Productions has added a big milestone to its buzz.

Taking to social media, Aamir Khan Productions shared the trailer and praised it, calling it “a powerful trailer that sets the tone right. Best wishes to the entire team of Dacoit." The gesture instantly struck a chord with Sesh, who has often, time and again, spoken about how Aamir Khan has been a constant source of inspiration for him. Touched by the recognition, Adivi Sesh reshared the story and expressed his gratitude, writing, “Thank you so much sir… when my childhood idol appreciates our work, it truly means everything."

Speaking about the moment, Sesh shared, “I have grown up watching Aamir sir’s films and learning from the kind of choices he has made as an actor and producer. To receive appreciation from him, even in this small way, feels incredibly special and validating. It motivates me to keep pushing boundaries and tell stories that resonate."

Earlier, at the Dacoit trailer launch, Adivi Sesh said that the film was first intended to arrive on March 19 to coincide with Ugadi (the Telugu New Year), which would have been ideal. However, he said they were not getting the kind of showcasing they wanted because of the strong presence of Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar 2. He added that the team chose to wait until their distributors confirmed that April 10 would offer excellent showcasing.

“Originally, hum March 19th ko release karne wale the because of Ugadi (Telugu New Year). South versions ke liye it was very good, but kyunki humein theek tarah ka showcasing nahi mil raha tha, because of my friend Aditya (Dhar)’s phenomenal Dhurandhar 2, we thought of finding the right showcasing. When we were confident from our distributors that ki April 10 ke liye bohot hi amazing showcasing hai, with perfect screen times and theatre, only then we announced the date," he said.
