Amitabh Bachchan's Post on the Ancient Hindu Temple in Iran

Amitabh Bachchan dropped a video on Instagram recently. It was about this ancient Hindu Vishnu temple over in Bandar Abbas, Iran. Just a fascinating little piece of stuff. He brought up how it connects to Indian traders, that cultural link between India and Iran, kind of showing something less obvious.

The clip itself was pretty specific. He posted about the temple. He mentioned it was built way back in 1892, during the Qajar era. It was built for Hindu traders from India who were working there at the time. And there was some Persian song playing in the background. It just added this whole other layer, you know?

He wrote something like, “The Ancient Hindu Vishnu Temple in Abbas Bandar, Iran… Built in 1892 during the Qajar era, it was constructed for Hindu traders from India working in the city… the song… in Persian.” It’s that kind of stuff, digging up history in a weird way.

The temple itself, the Bandar Abbas Vishnu Temple , it dates way back to the 19th century. Apparently, the Indian community was the ones who put it up when they were around that region.

But then there’s the other side of things. The video wasn’t just history. It had this whole vibe. The song, the sound. It just added this texture to the post. You see, he’s always sharing these little cultural insights, these reflections on things. It keeps people hooked.

And then there’s the personal stuff bleeding into it. He talked about the sleepless nights. It’s always that, isn’t it? The work. He admitted that even though doctors say you need seven hours minimum, his work commitments just pull him in.

He wrote that sleep just doesn’t take over at that hour. Why? Because work matters more. And then he throws in this weird thought about the body needing sleep, growing, repairing. It’s all jumbled up.

He said, “As I work, I am glued to the Ef Blog… but in the silence of the night that gentle music on slide guitar – sitar rendering some of the most soulful classical meditation solos… aaah!! there is no better cure for the soul than this.” It’s that kind of deep connection he talks about with music. Classical, meditative sounds. It’s the only thing that calms the restlessness.

It’s a constant stream of this, isn't it? History, art, and the sheer exhaustion of the schedule.

On the work front, things are moving along too. He’s got the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD coming up. He’s going back as Ashwatthama. That’s one thing.

And then there’s Section 84 . That courtroom drama. Directed by Ribhu Dasgupta. Diana Penty, Nimrat Kaur, Abhishek Banerjee are in it. Shooting is done, but no release date yet. Just hanging there.

It’s all moving, but it’s not perfectly neat. Just a lot of things happening at once. You get the ancient history, then the music, then the exhaustion, then the next movie. It just flows, kinda messy.
