JCD Prabhakar: The Institutional Face of Tamil Nadu Politics

His ticket from Thousand Lights carried weight too. That constituency has always been significant in Chennai. Putting a veteran there suggested TVK wanted credibility, along with votes.
Now, making him Speaker. Vijay seems to be sending another signal. While TVK is new. The government needs seasoned hands running the mechanics of the Assembly.
