Nick Jonas Shares Sweet Moments with His Daughter Malti Marie
Nick Jonas just shared some pictures with his fans. It’s all about his daughter, Malti Marie . He posted them recently, showing her during the technical rehearsals for a show.
The photos are really sweet. Little Malti looked like she was having a good time backstage, just around the musical setup. You can see her exploring the rehearsal area. She was even trying out the drums with Nick right there.
One shot, she was sitting near the drum set. Another one just showed her hanging out backstage with her dad while everything was getting ready for Nick’s performance. She was holding the mic in one picture, wearing some headgear, like she was listening to music.
Nick posted them with a caption. Something kind of heartfelt. It just said, “What happens in Vegas.”
It’s kind of a contrast, isn’t it? All that sweet family stuff, and then you remember the really intense time they went through.
For those who haven't followed closely, Nick and his wife, Priyanka Chopra, welcomed Malti Marie in 2022. It was through a surrogate. She’s their only child now.
They often share these little glimpses of her on social media. It’s their way of connecting with everyone.
There was a lot more to that journey, though. Nick had talked about the birth, about how complicated things were. He opened up on the On Purpose podcast.
He mentioned that Malti’s arrival wasn't easy. It came under some really intense circumstances. They were expecting her sooner.
He said they had to go into action. Born via surrogate. They went to the hospital. She was born small. One pound, eleven ounces. And he mentioned she was purple.
Reportedly, she spent a long time in the NICU. Nearly a hundred days. Nick admitted that the situation felt really perilous at times.
He talked about the nurses. He said they were truly angels.
He described the hospital time. He said they were doing twelve-hour shifts, just driving there and back every day. Seeing each other, sort of, like passing ships. It was crazy. He said he could still smell it.
He really stressed how much that experience changed things. That reality check.
He said those angels at the NICU, they really saved her. They got her taken care of fast. Intubated.
It was a tough reality. Just the daily drive and seeing each other. It was intense.
Priyanka and Nick welcomed her in January of 2022. It was all done through a surrogate. She is their only child now.
