Salman Khan's Cameo in 7 Dogs and the Media Buzz

Even before anyone saw it in the theatre, the buzz was already there for 7 Dogs . One Bollywood star, Salman Khan, had somehow managed to take over the conversation around the premiere. It was wild.
The movie premiered in Egypt on Friday. And social media just exploded with pictures from the whole thing. You had the Egyptian leads, Karim Abdel Aziz and Ahmed Ezz, plus Sanjay Dutt and Monica Bellucci in it. But the real talking point? Salman’s appearance. It just became everything online.
Fans were absolutely buzzing about it. They saw these massive posters of Salman plastered everywhere at the venue. He didn't even attend the premiere, but he was dominating the feed. People were snapping selfies right next to the giant posters.
One user posted something wild. “IT’S JUST A SMALL CAMEO IN ‘7 DOGS’ MOVIE AND LOOK AT THIS!!! SPECIAL POSTER FOR SALMAN KHAN ALONGSIDE WITH ‘KAREEM ABD ALAZIZ & AHMED EZZ’.. THAT’S WHAT WE CALLED STRADOM AND WHY WE CALLED HIM MEGASTAR.”
Then the clips from the screening started hitting the internet. One moment was particularly viral. Salman was just delivering an English line during a scene in a barber shop. The other actors were just approaching him. It was a cameo, sure, but it landed differently.
The reaction was immediate. People went nuts. “Never had we imagined we would see #SalmanKhan in such an international movie! He is holding the character perfectly,” one fan wrote. Another one just hit you with the pure fandom: “#SalmanKhan’s Baap Level Cameo In 7 Dogs.”
It wasn't just a cameo. It felt like a massive moment. “Salman Khan Cameo In 7 Dogs Movie, Absolute Gossebumps. Paisa Wasool Cameo,” another one posted. Then you had the overload. “GOOSEBUMPS OVERLOAD. #SalmanKhan Entry in #7Dogs is PURE MASS DESTRUCTION.”
One person summed it up really well. “One Entry = Full Theatre Blast. Paisa Vasool Cameo of the Year.” Another one just kept it simple: “7 Dogs. Endless chaos. Then one man arrived and turned the whole atmosphere into a mass celebration. That’s the difference between a star and a Megastar.”
The movie itself, 7 Dogs , was directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. You know them from the Bad Boys stuff. It’s big, it’s mounted up, and Saudi Arabia backed it. It’s an action thriller about two guys from totally different worlds forced to team up during some international mess.
Ahmed Ezz plays an Interpol officer. Karim Abdel Aziz is the crime boss. Their paths cross because of some weaponized narcotics messing up the Middle East stability.
Sanjay Dutt and Monica Bellucci are also in it. It’s slated for India release on May 28th.
Meanwhile, Salman has a ton coming up. He’s next on Maatrubhumi . That film has been shifting a lot lately. Before, it was whispered about as the Battle of Galwan, linked to the China-India clash. Now? The makers changed the title. They apparently pulled back on those specific references. Big reshoots are happening.
Maatrubhumi is produced by Salma Khan, under Salman Khan Films. Salman plays an Indian Army Colonel alongside Chitrangda Singh. No release date yet.
And then there’s SVC63 . Salman has locked in Eid 2027 for another big one with Nayanthara. Tentatively, it’s called SVC63 . Vamshi Paidipally is directing that one.
It’s funny. Last time, he was in Raja Shivaji . Just a cameo as Jiva Mahala, co-starring Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh. Fans loved that warrior look he had there. But this time, it’s the whole movie that’s making noise.
