Tucker Carlson's Criticism on Iran and the Trump Administration

Tucker Carlson went off on President Trump, sharp criticism about his rhetoric concerning Iran. Carlson accused Trump of mocking religion and just pushing tensions into the red.

You’re tweeting out the F-word on Easter morning? You’ll be living in hell. Just watch.

Carlson argued that when a political leader mocks religion, it just opens the door to wider conflict. It undermines the whole moral framework of US policy.

He made it clear that this kind of behavior affects Christians too.

“This is not just a mockery of Islam. It’s a mockery of Christianity,” he stated. He called the actions evil. An intentional desecration of beauty and truth.

Then he pivoted to the US role. He argued that the United States shouldn't try to act like a religious power. He said we don't go to war with other theocracies just to see which one wins. Theocracies corrupt religion, he insisted.

He pushed deadlines. Tuesday was set to be Power Plant Day and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in Iran.

“Open the Fin’ Strait, you crazy ba**s, or you’ll be living in Hell,” Trump wrote on Truth Social, setting an eight p.m. deadline.

Later, the timing kept shifting. The Associated Press reported that Trump kept delaying these deadlines. He swung between military threats and suggesting negotiations were actually happening.

He initially warned that Iran had to “FULLY OPEN, WITHOUT THREAT, the Strait of Hormuz” within 48 hours or face attacks on power plants.

But then he backed off. He told the Department of War to hold off on action for five days while discussions continued.

Then came the escalation again. On March 26th, Trump warned there would be “NO TURNING BACK” if a deal wasn't reached, pushing the deadline out further to April 6th.

Iran didn't back down. They formally rejected the latest ceasefire proposal, putting forward their own ten-point proposal to end the war permanently.

Mojtaba Ferdousi Pour, Iran’s envoy in Cairo, told the AP that Iran just doesn't trust the Trump administration anymore, especially after previous attacks during those talks. They only accept an end to the war if they get guarantees they won't be attacked again.

Diplomatic efforts weren't dead, though. A regional official mentioned that talks were still moving, happening behind closed doors.

Trump countered that he wasn't concerned about war crimes in pursuing strikes.

She posted a bunch of things on X. She claimed Carlson was acting like some woke leftist. She suggested he was so far gone, talking about simping for a paedophile death cult.

Loomer also brought up some older audio. She shared what she called leaked recordings where Carlson had made derogatory remarks about Muslims and Iraqis.

One clip she shared included Carlson saying things like, “Iraq is a crappy place filled with a bunch of, you know, semi-literate, primitive monkeys. I have zero sympathy for them or their culture, a culture where people just don’t use toilet paper or forks.”

He also said, “I don’t like Islamic extremists. If you are really heavily into Islam, I really, I’m sorry, I just don’t care for you that much.”

Loomer called him a liar and the biggest conman in America. She warned that Tucker and his business partners were going to regret their behavior long term.

The whole picture is messy. You have the religious outrage, the high-stakes military maneuvering over the Strait, and this layer of personal hypocrisy bubbling up from the commentary side. It’s all happening at once.
