Controversy Involving Humayun Kabir and Political Allegations
A real mess started up in West Bengal. A major political stink, all because some video went viral involving Humayun Kabir . The video alleged Kabir had ties with top BJP leaders.
Kabir immediately went into denial. He said it was all fake. AI generated, he claimed.
But the reaction wasn't just about the video. He turned around and slammed Mamata Banerjee . Accused her of conspiring against him. It got heated fast.
Speaking to ANI, the AJUP founder—the guy who built the Babri Masjid in Bengal—spoke out. He was really angry. “Mamata Banerjee is conspiring against me,” he insisted. “She’s mentioning my name everywhere she goes. She’s speaking against me. The common people, they will respond to her. She won’t come to power in 2026.”
Then he hit back on the video itself. He said the footage showed him in a flat on December 19th. But he insisted he never stayed there. The video, which seemed to be recorded after eight pm, he claimed was AI. He threatened to file a case in the High Court against whoever posted it.
They shared the alleged video during a press conference. What was in it? It supposedly showed Kabir linked up with a bunch of names. Even the Prime Minister’s Office. All part of some massive plan to beat Banerjee in the polls, multi-crore stuff.
And then you had Amit Shah reacting. He was sharp. He said the whole thing about Kabir and the BJP was nonsense. He drew a line. “Humayun Kabir and the BJP are like the South Pole and the North Pole. We can never align.” He added that they’d rather sit in opposition for another twenty years than sit with those who built the Babri Masjid in Bengal. It’s that kind of raw statement you hear. It just throws everything into sharp relief.
