Virat Kohli's Journey: Struggles, Confidence, and the Pursuit of Glory

That’s amidst all the noise. Despite RCB pulling off that thrilling win against Mumbai Indians in Raipur, Kohli’s struggles just kept going. He registered his second golden duck. Fans were stunned, naturally.
But Kohli still managed a productive campaign overall. Still, you see the pattern. His ultra-attacking style this season often seems to lead to promising starts just ending too soon. No big scores.
Krunal, though, made it clear. The RCB dressing room is still fully confident. They believe Kohli will find his rhythm soon. Speaking right after that dramatic win, the experienced all-rounder said failures just make a player of Kohli’s stature come back stronger.
“Virat Kohli is a champion player,” he said. “When he fails for two games, I get more excited because I know he will come back. We are never tense about him. He is a different beast, he has a lot of hunger. From here on, I am sure Virat Kohli will do Virat Kohli things.”
Krunal played a defining role in that memorable Bengaluru chase. He smashed a brilliant 73 off just 46 deliveries on that tricky Raipur surface. It was uneven bounce, variable pace. Four boundaries, five sixes. He guided RCB through that tense 167-run chase under insane pressure.
He also looked back at the comparisons. He thought about his crucial knock against Delhi Capitals last season. Back then, he and Kohli had rescued RCB from a similar collapse. Remember that game? Bengaluru slipped to 26/3. Then they stitched together a match-winning partnership, 119 runs worth.
“The situation was the same as last year’s game against DC,” he added. “We were 25/3. But I had a GOAT standing on the other side. When Virat is there, things are easier. His energy and aura always help you.”
He paused there. “That wicket was tough. But this one is more special. We lost wickets consistently. Faced a lot of pressure. It was crucial to win this 11th match we were playing.”
