Tej Pratap Yadav Allegations, Threats, and Legal Proceedings

Tej Pratap Yadav, President of JJD, brought up some serious stuff on Friday. He claimed his life was genuinely under threat. Not just some vague worry, but he alleged there was a full-blown conspiracy cooking to get him killed, something linked straight to opposition leaders.

He wasn't just making noise, though. He demanded security. Real security. And he said they had already taken steps, filing an application in court about this whole situation. It felt urgent, like the kind of fear that settles deep in your gut.

The complaint itself was pretty pointed. He filed it at the Secretariat police station against a few names Akash Yadav, the former President of the RJD Student Wing, and seven others. The accusation? Plotting his murder. That’s heavy stuff to drop into the air.

Speaking to reporters over in Patna, Tej Pratap Yadav painted a picture of immediate danger. He claimed four people had forcibly barged into his residence. Not a subtle visit. A forced entry. And they tried to grab them, naturally, but they just bolted. Managed to escape before anyone could catch them. It sounds like chaos unfolding behind closed doors.

“It’s possible that he [Akash Yadav] wants to get me murdered in collusion with the opposition,” Tej Pratap Yadav said. He laid it out plainly. “Four people had forcibly entered my residence… By the time we tried to catch those people, they fled… I demand security, and we have also filed an application in court regarding security… If we have to meet the Chief Minister, we will meet.”

That’s a lot of pressure packed into one statement. A direct appeal layered with threat. It shifts quickly from fear to legal action, trying to force some kind of official response. Authorities? Still nothing official floating around yet, just the allegations hanging there in the air.

Things get tangled when you look at the bigger picture he brought up. He also touched on his father, Lalu Prasad Yadav. Allegedly, Lalu was unwell. And this isn't just about Tej Pratap; it’s about a wider plot to kill both of them. Akash Yadav, again, is implicated in this grander scheme to get him murdered.

“Efforts have been made to tarnish my image from the very beginning,” he added, bitterness creeping into his voice. “My father, Lalu Prasad Yadav, is unwell, and this is a conspiracy to kill my father and me. Akash Yadav wants to get me murdered.” You could feel the desperation there. A sense that everything was orchestrated against them.

Meanwhile, things got messy on another front entirely. Tej Pratap Yadav himself had been booked too. It’s a different story, an entirely separate thread of legal trouble. There was a complaint registered against him alleging he forcibly entered a house in Patna. And then there was the insistence to meet some toddler a child he referred to as his “daughter.” The family reportedly objected, and that led to threats. Threats directed at the entire family.

He dismissed these accusations flatly. Called them “false and fabricated.” A classic deflection when things get ugly.

The details of this second incident are just as murky. The FIR came from a man who claimed Yadav and one of his aides tried to sneak into a house, insisting on meeting the child. The complaint suggested that when the family refused access, something much worse happened. Allegedly, Yadav threatened the child’s safety threatened abduction. The complainant then brought up political leverage. He claimed Yadav used his clout, saying no FIR could be lodged against him, warning the family off from contacting the police.

And then there was that weird twist at the end of that story. The complainant mentioned a phone call he received. A call with supposed links to some gang the Lawrence Bishnoi group. That kind of association throws a whole new layer onto everything.

Patna ASP (Law and Order) Divyanjali Jaiswal confirmed the FIR registration, naturally. But even her response felt guarded. She said the threat call supposedly came from a US number. Investigators are looking at CCTV footage, phone calls, voice notes. They’re digging into that alleged Bishnoi connection too.

It’s all moving in circles now. One side is alleging high-level murder conspiracies involving political figures and threats of violence. The other side involves domestic disputes escalating into criminal complaints, laced with serious gang allegations.

This whole mess seems to have been brewing for a while. Months after some social media drama involving Tej Pratap Yadav that Facebook post about a long relationship. Things exploded then too. His father and Lalu Prasad Yadav kicked him out of the party right after that fallout.

The FIR itself, this latest one, comes months after those earlier controversies. It just shows how these threads keep pulling on each other. One narrative is political machinations; the other is street-level threats with a darker edge attached to organized crime references. The reality seems less like a neat timeline and more like overlapping smoke.
