Yogi Adityanath's Letter to PM Modi on Nation-Building and UP's Progress

Yogi Adityanath sent out some Greetings on Wednesday to Prime Minister Modi. It was about him reaching twelve years as the longest-serving elected prime minister, that’s what he congratulated him for.
He didn't just send a standard note. He actually wrote a letter to PM Modi himself, extending well wishes from the people of Uttar Pradesh.
What he wrote wasn't just polite stuff. It was packed with reflection. Heartiest congratulations on completing those twelve years. Nation-building , good governance, public welfare that was the focus.
He expressed confidence, naturally. He basically said that UP will keep contributing its best to nation-building under Modi’s leadership. That simple statement carried a lot of weight.
Then came the bigger picture stuff. The letter dove into what has happened over those twelve years. It talked about how things shifted. Under this leadership, Uttar Pradesh became something unique. A mix of faith and economy.
He brought up big landmarks. Ram Lalla at Ayodhya, the redevelopment around Kashi Vishwanath Dham. And that old mantra ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ he used it as a kind of guiding principle for everything. It gave momentum, renewed confidence across India. New benchmarks in security, governance, prosperity. That’s what he felt the nation achieved.
He pointed out UP’s success too. Unprecedented progress in public welfare, good governance, and inclusive development. Realizing that vision of a Viksit Bharat . He made it clear: this wasn't just abstract; they saw real results here.
Specific Achievements and Welfare Schemes
The specifics started pouring out then. Welfare schemes. That was the next big chunk.
- Crores of toilets built under Swachh Bharat Mission .
- Families getting permanent houses under PMAY sixty-five lakh families, that’s a solid number.
- Health coverage too. Nearly ten crore eligible citizens got Swasthya Suraksha Kavach through Ayushman Bharat .
- Food security mattered. Fifteen crore people receiving free rations through the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana and the National Food Security Act .
- The Ujjwala scheme freed up women from smoky kitchens 1.86 crore women, that’s significant.
- Farmers got direct financial help too. Three crore farmers received assistance under the Kisan Samman Nidhi .
- Plus all those farming programs Fasal Bima Yojana , soil health cards they helped boost production and income.
Employment and Industrial Growth
It wasn't just welfare. Employment shifted too. Under this guidance, job creation was notable. Nine lakh youth got government jobs through Mission Rozgar , a fair process he mentioned. And skill development played a huge role. Twenty-five lakh youth trained and placed according to industry needs. Investment drove industrial growth, MSMEs, startups that created over three crore opportunities for self-employment. Youth became key partners in this journey.
Infrastructure and Physical Change
Then there was the physical change. Infrastructure. This was massive. The Delhi-Meerut Expressway, Namo Bharat RRTS, the first inland waterway. Dedicated Freight Corridors cutting through UP. Modern rail like Vande Bharat and Namo Bharat. He said UP is now the ‘Expressway State.’ World-class expressways define it now. Smart Cities, airports, metro projects all speeding up trade and investment.
Security and Economic Transformation
And finally, the sense of security. The Rule of Law in Uttar Pradesh. That was inspired by Modi’s vision too. Things feel different now. Free from mafias, riots, fear. Traders, women, industrialists they feel safer. Better law and order meant an investment-friendly environment. The economy nearly tripled compared to 2017. Per capita income almost tripled. Unemployment dropped from eighteen percent down to about three percent.
He ended with that forward-looking note. UP is moving fast toward a one-trillion-dollar economy. Playing a leading role in building that Viksit Bharat . Confidence remains, he stated. Full dedication towards that vision. Keep contributing to nation-building.
