NDA Coalition Meeting: Leaders Celebrate Milestone and Discuss National Development

The NDA coalition, led by the BJP , just hit twelve years in office on Wednesday. Leaders got together for a meeting, trying to celebrate that milestone and all that.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu spoke up. He really praised PM Modi. Said he was leading this century. Inspiring everyone. The resolve for public service, the work done he said it was just unparalleled.

“Modi Ji, you are leading this century. You inspire and energise us all. The resolve you have shown for public service and the work you have accomplished are unparalleled,” Naidu remarked during the huddle.

Then there was something about Bengal. That whole West Bengal Assembly Election 2026 thing. The Andhra CM brought it up. He said that massive mandate BJP got in Bengal under Modi’s watch convinced him. What Bengal thinks today, what the nation thinks tomorrow.

“The massive mandate the BJP received in Bengal under your leadership has convinced me what Bengal thinks today, the nation thinks tomorrow,” he claimed.

Later on, Naidu pushed further. He talked about development. Infrastructure, welfare for the poor Modi set new benchmarks. He vowed commitment to that kind of progress.

“Today, Honorable Prime Minister Ji, I can say with confidence that under your leadership, Bengal will spearhead the nation’s development. Whether it is infrastructure or the welfare of the poor, you have set new benchmarks for development,” he added, promising more work.

Modi acknowledged all those messages on ‘X’. He said the journey itself was shaped by a shared thing a resolve to strengthen national interest and regional aspirations.

“I thank the Chief Ministers and leaders of the NDA for their warm wishes. The NDA’s journey has been defined by a shared resolve to further national interest and regional aspirations. This spirit has strengthened our democracy, deepened cooperative federalism and accelerated development,” he posted.

Over those twelve years, the government apparently kept things stable. Progress happened across sectors. They said they would keep moving forward with renewed energy for Viksit Bharat .

The meeting itself it was at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. It wasn't just a formality. The focus was on achievements from the last three regimes and what came next. A roadmap, sort of.

Who showed up? Besides Modi, you had Nitin Nabin, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, JP Nadda, Chirag Paswan, among others in the BJP camp.

And then the state leaders arrived too. Delhi’s Rekha Gupta, Yogi Adityanath from UP, Suvendu Adhikari from West Bengal, Himanta Biswa Sarma from Assam, Samrat Chaudhary from Bihar, Pushkar Singh Dhami from Uttarakhand, and Naidu again. A big crowd of Chief Ministers.

Then came the weird part. In a moment of celebration, Modi was just eating Jhalmuri that puffed-rice snack from West Bengal while CM Adhikari served it to him. It happened right there.

That caught some attention. Comparisons started flying around. Remember when Modi visited West Bengal during that election? He stopped at a roadside shop and had that same snack.

Things got heated fast after that moment. The BJP and Trinamool Congress were exchanging shots. The opposition claimed it was a stunt. A carefully planned publicity move by the PM, but the BJP just pushed back. It was messy. Just talk.

Modi wrapped up with his own reflection on those twelve years. He said it was all about trust, development, public welfare. With the blessing of 1.4 billion people and nation first, they worked hard for youth, women, farmer brothers and sisters.

He noted that globally, India got a new identity because of this effort. Infrastructure, digital revolution that’s how they gained ground on the world stage. To become a developed India? Keep moving forward on service, good governance, prosperity. That was the final thought hanging there.
