Pawan Kalyan's OG Franchise and Pooja Hegde Rumors

The buzz around Pawan Kalyan’s OG franchise just keeps getting louder, you know?
People are really speculating now about the next movie. Specifically, there’s this persistent rumor floating around that actress Pooja Hegde might be involved in the second installment of the action drama. It’s all talk right now. No official word from the makers yet, naturally. But across social media, the chatter is intense.
123 Telugu picked up on this idea. They mentioned Pooja Hegde being considered for that sequel. It came as a real surprise to a lot of fans, I mean, think about it. The first film had Priyanka Mohan leading the charge. And she just… disappeared midway through.
Then there’s the OG Universe itself. That was announced recently. It gave us a little peek into how all this ambitious expansion started out. You get this glimpse a look behind the scenes of Pawan Kalyan and director Sujeeth having their initial creative talks. It really shows where this whole thing came from, you know?
Pawan Kalyan just dropped that video on his X handle and announced the OG Universe saga. The caption was something like: “Before the storm arrives… there’s a moment of silence. The untold story of Gambheera is ready to unfold.” And then he brought in Sujeeth and Thaman, saying they were reuniting under Pawan Kalyan Creative Works to expand that #OGUniverse. It just cranks up the excitement level for everyone watching.
He said things during that time. Back in 2025, at some special screening, he was quoted. He talked about gratitude about the work itself being brilliant. He said any good project needs a great team. Collections? Success? He seemed to brush those aside. He just focused on how OG was a good watch. Ravi Chandran and Navin Nooli did superb jobs. The most important thing, he insisted, was looking forward. That this whole OG Universe is purely Sujeeth’s creation. Thaman has potential, apparently. Sujeeth really tapped into it. When he held hands with Sujeeth and Thaman during that moment, Pawan said, “Part of the OG Universe.”
Meanwhile, there’s Pooja Hegde’s own scene in the mix. She’ll be next seen with Dulquer Salman in DQ41. That’s happening too. And separately, there’s another project brewing for her. It’s going to be bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner. That marks a big milestone for that production house SLV10. But we are still waiting for any real confirmation from the makers on that front. It’s all moving, but nothing is locked down yet.
