Stabbing Incident in Bengaluru: Investigation and Family Tensions

Three people were allegedly stabbed to death inside their apartment in Bengaluru’s Seegehalli area. It was a massive police search operation right after that happened.
The incident itself, according to the police file, wrapped up on Monday evening, somewhere between six and six-thirty pm near Kasturinagar Main Road.
The family involved Soma Sundar, his wife Muthu Laxmi, and their elder daughter Supriya they were the ones found dead. Soma Sundar was fifty-two. His wife, Muthu Laxmi, forty-eight. And Supriya, nineteen.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Saidulu Adavath talked about how this all kicked off. Apparently, three people visited that flat. They said the accused and the family’s elder daughter had been staying there for about two months already. That context matters now.
There was an argument suspected. The cops think that argument led to repeated stabbing. It wasn't just a random act; it felt planned in some way, or maybe just completely out of control.
The investigation immediately launched a manhunt. They needed to find whoever did this and figure out the real reason behind those killings.
Meanwhile, there’s another thread pulling at the investigation. NDTV mentioned something about Shwetha, the family’s elder daughter, and her boyfriend Kenneth. They were reportedly in a live-in situation. Investigators are looking closely at them now. It seems they might have been involved somehow. Both of them are supposedly running.
It gets darker when you look at the background stuff. The police are digging into whether the relationship tension played a role. Did opposition from Shwetha’s parents about that living arrangement push things over the edge? That possibility is being examined now.
There was also money involved, or maybe just stress bleeding into crime. It came up when they learned Shwetha had allegedly racked up debts nearly thirty lakh rupees. Frequent questions from her parents about this debt reportedly caused real tension inside the family structure.
Preliminary findings point toward a specific moment. Muthulakshmi was apparently alone at home when the accused showed up. Then, the attack happened. She was allegedly attacked and killed with something sharp. An argument followed that led straight to violence in the apartment.
Investigators are also looking into what happened next. They suspect the attackers stayed inside after the initial assault. And then Supriya came back home. She was allegedly overpowered too. Killed. Soma Sundar got hit with the same weapon. He managed to escape, ran out of the flat for help before he died from his injuries.
The whole sequence is still murky. The police are trying to piece together exactly what happened and why they did it. Post-mortem exams are underway. Forensics are sifting through the scene for any other clue. Everything is still being verified right now.</p
