Akanksha Chamola's Journey of Bisexuality and Acceptance

Akanksha Chamola brought up something pretty big recently. She mentioned that Gaurav Khanna knew about her bisexuality and he just accepted it. It felt like a major thing, you know?

Then there was this moment when she was on Lock Upp 2 . Farah Khan actually asked him about Akanksha’s whole reveal. And what happened next was kind of telling. Gaurav explained that he had no issues with it at all. But Akanksha also gave him a nod, sort of praising him for being supportive.

Farah actually relayed something back to Gaurav. She said when the second secret came out when she asked if Gaurav knew about it Akanksha just replied, “He knew beforehand.” That part stuck with you.

Khanna then added his side. He brought up this idea that he always felt: if you like someone, you should just go for it completely. He said he’s always been that guy in his life. A bit heavy maybe.

Akanksha also talked about how he handled it. She said Gaurav was really open-minded. He got her feelings, everything, and he accepted it easily. Graciously.

It shifts a little when you think about this timing. This all happened days after Shreya Kalra had exposed something too. Akanksha’s second lifeline kind of came out then. That exposure before the big reveal felt like setting up some groundwork.

Akanksha reacted to that, too. She said Shreya probably assumed it because she has fun with everyone. It wasn't something she brought up directly, not from her end. But yeah, it was one of her secrets. Being bisexual before marriage. There were relationships with girls. Not necessarily intimate stuff, but being in relationships with females.

She felt like she needed to explain the space for it. She said liking women that’s where she found her safe place. It’s a very male-dominated world. You build that comfort zone with women eventually. She liked the feminine energy. She thrived on it. A lot of people think girls are always just competing, jealous. She didn't aGree with that vibe at all.

She felt like she was the only one getting exposed in this game since day one. It’s a complicated feeling, isn't it? That sense of being singled out.
