Govinda Gears Up for Big Screen Return with 'Roopa'

Govinda’s fans are getting something to look forward to. The Bollywood actor is finally gearing up for a big screen return with his upcoming film, ‘Roopa’.
He admitted that people had written him off several times. But he always bounced back. That’s the attitude, I guess.
And naturally, he introduced his co-star and newcomer, Rani Swarnkar .
Talking about coming back after nearly seven years, he got quite reflective. He said something like, “Maybe it was destiny that I was written off so many times.” People kept saying, ‘He won’t appear in films anymore.’ But he just started again.
He prayed that this film would actually achieve what he dreamed of something maybe people can’t even imagine and really work its magic.
The focus for ‘Roopa’, though, seems to be on the younger crowd. He stressed that it’s especially for youngsters. When they watch it in theaters, he hopes it sparks dreams and makes them believe those dreams are actually possible. Not much about spirituality, though. That part, he said, he won't get into.
He also brought up something personal: the number 14. It’s always been his lucky number. He really believes in numerology; even his name is tied to it. He started holding onto that belief when he was just fourteen. By some grace, he signed 14 films in one week, and that led to fourteen years of superstardom. Then came being a Member of Parliament in the 14th Lok Sabha. After all that, he went through a long 14-year struggle before finally returning to acting. This time, though? Now, this feels like it’s the real beginning of something new.
You see, Govinda has starred in a ton of movies. He started out way back in 1986 with ‘Love 86’.
But honestly?
