Sangh Meeting Outcomes and Focus Areas

The Sangh expressed confidence about the SIT probe, you know? It’s all about those alleged irregularities in counting donations at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir. They urged the Teerth Kshetra Nyas the management body to make sure this kind of thing doesn't happen again. They felt it was important, really, for devotees’ faith not to be shaken by these incidents.

This came out after their three-day gathering in Belagavi. Mohan Bhagwat, the chief, and Dattatreya Hosabale, general secretary, plus 226 senior functionaries were there. A lot of talking happened, I guess.

Sunil Ambekar, who handles the PR side for the Sangh, released the outcome of that meeting. He said everyone was genuinely grieved about those issues with the donation box offerings at the Mandir. But he also put his faith in the ongoing police action and the SIT probe. He felt it was going to turn decisively.

Ambekar emphasized something else too. It was expected, he said, that the Teerth Kshetra Nyas would step up and ensure this kind of incident never repeats. Not because they wanted to sound formal, but because it touches on the deep reverence Ram Bhakts have for the Ram Mandir. That faith matters a lot.

It wasn't just about Ayodhya stuff, though. They brought up other things too. The whole Census process was discussed. Population imbalance came up as something that’s really hitting them in their outreach and policy talks lately. They didn't dive deep into the specifics of that issue, but the senior functionaries definitely reviewed the national picture alongside those demographic trends.

Then there were the usual organizational updates. They looked at the centenary year programs what they’re doing for the next few months. There was talk about connecting people who got involved with the Sangh during the outreach to some social work and those Panch Parivartan initiatives. Expansion stayed a big focus, too. Talking about implementing action plans down at the shakha level and that nationwide Shakha Vistar Yojana planned for September. They mentioned they had already organized 83 Sangh Shiksha Vargas and 12 Karyakarta Vikas Vargas this year. That brought in nearly eighteen thousand eight hundred forty-two swayamsevaks, trained in things like village development, family awareness, disaster management... environmental protection.

Drug abuse was another heavy topic that came up at the meeting. It’s clearly a growing social challenge, and they called for serious focus on getting people clean. They also marked the 650th birth anniversary of Sant Shiromani Ravidas Maharaj. And naturally, Mohan Bhagwat's travel schedule for 2026-27 was reviewed too. Just another set of things that got covered in those three days.
