Anne Hathaway Expecting Third Child with Adam Shulman

Anne Hathaway is expecting again. The Mother Mary star announced she’s having her third child with Adam Shulman. It came out through an Instagram video posted Friday, June 19th.
In the clip, she walks into the frame wearing a flowy white dress. She keeps her arms in front of her stomach at first. Then Barbara Lewis’ “Baby I’m Yours” starts playing softly. She drops those arms and shows off the bump. A gentle smile, a hug to her belly, then she runs out of view.
She posted it with just two lines: “x Baby, I’m yours x.” Simple. It hit fans hard. The comments section exploded with congratulations immediately.
Hathaway and Shulman already have two sons. Jonathan is ten now. Jack is six. They tied the knot back in 2012 and had Jonathan in 2016. Then Jack arrived in 2019. Now they’re gearing up for another one. The family is expanding again.
She tends to keep her personal life pretty private, which is something she’s always done about her family. But this announcement brought a bit more light into it. That video felt warm. Intimate even. It was all about celebration and connection.
There’s a different side to the story, of course. Hathaway has talked before about how motherhood changes everything for you. Back in March 2022, she spoke to WSJ Magazine. She said being a mom made her feel more grounded. Like she finally felt landed.
She noted it wasn't about lacking anything right then. It was about wanting to be completely true. Stopping the noise inside herself. Those little breaks you give yourself when you realize you aren’t operating at your absolute best. That kind of shift, that feeling it changes things profoundly.
And now she’s in that space again. Enjoying it with her kids. She said they are all just “in it.” Soaking it up. Living in the city she loves. Work seems to be going really well too.
She added something a bit more blunt, almost breathless: “I’m having the most wonderful time with my family... as everything else burns.” It sounds messy. Real.
On the career front though, things are still moving fast. She’s juggling a lot right now. She’ll be in Mother Mary . There’s The Devil Wears Prada 2 coming up too. And she’s starring in The Odyssey , playing Penelope.
With another baby on the way and these big projects lined up, it feels like she’s just moving through this incredibly eventful period. Personally. Professionally. Everything is happening at once.

It’s funny how Bollywood has always operated on this simple, almost stubborn belief, isn't it? Make a good film. Get decent reviews. And then the audience just shows up eventually.
