Shooters Linked to Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Killed Near Bahadurgarh

Two alleged shooters linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang were killed late Saturday night near Bahadurgarh. They were carrying a reward of one lakh each. The operation was carried out by a joint team the Haryana Police’s Special Task Force unit and Delhi Police's Counter Intelligence wing.
The bodies identified are Pravesh, from Tibba Danasher village, and Himanshu, son of Sushil Kumar from Jakhod Khera. Both came from the Hisar district. They were wanted in connection with the June 11 murder of Kapil, a gym owner in Hansi. That’s where the whole thing starts.
Haryana Police said they moved quickly. They launched this operation after getting specific intel that these two accused were hanging around Bahadurgarh.
A spokesperson mentioned something about what happened during the move. The gang members allegedly had sophisticated weapons. They were supposedly planning some major criminal act. As the police tried to catch them, things went sideways fast. The accused opened fire indiscriminately. It looked like a reaction. The security personnel retaliated in self-defense. An exchange of fire followed immediately.
The fallout was immediate. One constable got hurt during the encounter. But four other officers managed to get away fine. They were untouched. The spokesperson said this happened because the bullets hit their bulletproof jackets. It’s a grim reality of these things.
The injured constable and the two accused were rushed to the hospital right away. Doctors looked at Pravesh and Himanshu. They declared both dead during treatment. The constable, though? Stable condition.
Police said they recovered weapons and other evidence from the spot. Investigation is still ongoing naturally.
Later on, the Director General of Police Ajay Singhal weighed in. He linked this whole action to the Chief Minister’s zero-tolerance policy against organized crime and gangster networks. He said the teams showed real courage and professionalism during the operation. And he wished the injured constable a quick recovery. Haryana Police is going to keep pushing hard against criminal groups operating there.
This encounter comes weeks after Kapil’s murder. Remember that? Kapil owned RED Gym in Krantikari Chowk, Hansi. On June 11 morning, he was training some young men and a woman when the attackers showed up on motorcycles. One of them opened fire close to him. Hit Kapil in the head and back. He just collapsed there. A stray bullet also hit a woman inside the gym.
Doctors later found nine bullet wounds on Kapil’s body. Six on his back, three on his chest. It was brutal.
Hours after that killing, something else popped up online. An X account called “Harry Boxer” claimed responsibility for the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The post alleged that Kapil was the mastermind behind two shooting incidents in Shekhpura and Dhani Puria villages near Hansi back in February 2025. It just keeps piling on.
Police records show Kapil had a history, too. Murder attempts, assault cases registered against him at four different police stations between 2023 and 2024. A long string of trouble.
