NEET UG Re-exam Guidelines and Rules for Sunday, June 21st

The National Testing Agency just dropped some serious guidelines for the upcoming NEET UG re-exam set for Sunday, June 21st. It’s a lot to keep track of.

Students need to be ready for specific requirements right from the start. They have to bring essential papers the original admit card with photos slapped on it, an extra passport photo, and some form of valid government ID, like a passport or Aadhaar card. If you don't have those things, they won’t let you in at all.

There are rules about what you can actually carry too. They want to make sure everything runs smoothly, which means strict bans on certain items. Forget electronic gadgets. No mobile phones, no smartwatches, no Bluetooth stuff, and definitely no earphones. That goes for stationery, wallets, bags, belts, caps... anything metal or heavy jewelry is banned. Security teams will be running handheld detectors, so keep those things locked up.

Then there’s the dress code. It sounds simple enough on the surface, but it has to be followed exactly. Think light clothes, nothing with big buttons or heavy patterns. Footwear needs to be basic slippers or low sandals work best. High heels? Forget about them. They said fancy shoes might cause extra checks, so keep it plain. If you wear religious attire like a turban or hijab, fine, but you have to get there early for the frisking process.

Security is ramping up. Expect mandatory frisking and biometric verification before anyone gets inside the exam center. And if something goes wrong with the tech or physical reasons why verification can’t happen right away? They still let you appear for the test after you submit some paperwork at the center. But remember, only candidates are allowed in there. Don't try to bring anything valuable; the center isn't responsible if anything gets lost.

Now, shifting focus to where this is happening the Riyadh center. The NTA is running this re-exam at a special location there too. The Indian Embassy handled releasing all the fine details for that location: timings, entry rules, what to wear, and security protocols are all laid out by the embassy. It’s set up at the International Indian School Riyadh, Boys’ Section, over in Rawdah.

Candidates going there have specific arrival times they need to hit. They can enter the center starting at 8:30 AM. But you really should aim to be there before 10:30 AM so everything gets checked out smoothly with verification and frisking done on time. The entry gates shut down sharply at 11:00 AM, and after that? No one gets inside.

The actual exam runs from 11:30 AM until 2:45 PM KSA time. Everyone is being told to just cooperate with the staff. It’s all about keeping things fair and avoiding any last-minute panic on the actual day. They really want everyone there, following the rules, without unnecessary stress bleeding into the test itself.
