Sunita Ahuja has been pretty open about things. She’s claimed her superstar husband has had multiple affairs throughout their marriage. It’s all kind of talk now.
Even on Lock Upp 2, she brought up how heroes can cheat around. There isn't much you can say about that stuff, given the fandom and the status they have.
Shreya Kalra asked Sunita directly in one episode if Govinda still cheats. She also asked if Sunita was open to finding another partner now.
Sunita’s response wasn't a straight answer. She said things like, “Hua toh abhi kya kar sakte hain… shuru se hi hua hain na lekin?” She suggested that since they are heroes, you just can’t say anything. And about waiting? She added something about thinking it would cause diabetes and increase the trouble. Just let things run their course.
When Shreya asked if this made her sad, Sunita pivoted. Now she lives for her kids. That seemed to be where her focus landed.
When pressed again about whether Govinda still cheats, Sunita was blunt. “Tum rok sakte ho kisi ko? Main 24 ghanta unke saamne baithi rahu? Samne wala bhi toh irritate ho jayga na?” She didn't seem to think much about it anymore.
She brought up the living situation too. They have two houses. People come to those houses, right? She needed privacy in her own home. That was a point she made.
When asked if she wanted another partner, Sunita said no. She isn’t interested in seeking love elsewhere now. She has seen enough in life already.
She talked about this infidelity stuff many times on Lock Upp 2. Back when she was younger, she was taught to just endure whatever happened in her marriage. Never leave your partner behind. People, especially heroes, they can't be controlled. They will likely have affairs. That was the old line.
Govinda and Sunita got married back in 1987. They have two kids now, Tina Ahuja and Yashvardan Ahuja. Recently, there were reports that they aren’t living together anymore. Divorce was on the table. But they quickly dismissed those rumors. Still, Sunita felt some of those stories about Govinda having affairs had some truth to them. Govinda himself never publicly admitted cheating. Just... not in public.
