Video Claims and Controversy in PoK Protest

A video is out there now, spinning around social media, causing fresh trouble in PoK. People are claiming they caught an Islamabad police officer trying to sneak Indian currency among demonstrators. It all happened during a protest connected to the Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee that civil movement pushing for things like inflation and better governance in the region.

The video? nobody's really confirmed it yet, of course. But the claims are huge. They suggest an attempt to paint the whole protest movement as being funded by India. It’s a big move trying to discredit the entire agitation.

What the people at the scene are saying is that the man was stopped because he was acting suspiciously. In the footage itself, he supposedly admits something. He claims a senior officer handed him the notes and told him to “drop them quickly.” That’s what they are hearing.

This person in the video identifies himself as a police official posted somewhere in Rawalakot. He shows his belt number, his CNIC the National Identity Card and insists he was just following orders from someone higher up. A superior officer assigned him the task.

The implication here is that this whole stunt this planting of Indian money was designed to make it look like India was backing the protests financially. If authorities use this footage, they can claim the movement is externally funded. That’s how they try to shake public support and reduce the legitimacy of what’s happening there.

There's talk that those linked to Pakistan’s ISI use Indian currency for logistics. Transportation fees, banners, payments related to these operations. Using Indian notes creates a messy financial trail, designed to point fingers at India while hiding where the actual money came from. It gives them plausible deniability.

Of course, there’s been zero official word from Pakistani authorities about this video or the claims floating around it. Nothing independent has surfaced yet to back up anything. Just these stories hanging in the air.
