Global Recognition of Modi's Leadership and Tenure

Modi, having held the reins for what feels like an eternity now, got waves of congratulations from leaders all over the world. It’s been a long run, and apparently, that translates into global recognition praise about his leadership, the economic direction he’s set, and how much influence he seems to be building out there.

The first ones came quickly. Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake was right up there. He basically framed it as a reflection of trust. Said the world trusted him, and that New Delhi had been there for them when things got tough.

Dissanayake felt Modi’s achievement wasn't just domestic. It was about confidence from people across the globe seeing what happened in India.

“Your vision for an economically dynamic India,” he commented, “that inspires us even far away, into Sri Lanka.” There was a clear note of gratitude there too, mentioning India’s help during those really difficult economic and political stretches his country faced. He stressed that the bond between India and Sri Lanka had just reached something massive mutual trust, shared history, living close by... it all seemed to underscore how capable Modi has been at getting real results for people.

Other voices followed. Papua New Guinea’s Prime Minister James Marape sent a message calling him a role model. He basically wanted those bilateral ties with India to get even deeper. And Trinidad and Tobago's Kamla Persad-Bissessar echoed the sentiment, pointing to India’s growing voice on big global issues. She brought up all the stuff: foreign policy moves, infrastructure growth, the overall socio-economic progress during his time in office.

It just keeps piling up these tributes as he hits this milestone the longest elected tenure ever seen for an Indian PM. It shows how much attention India is grabbing across Asia, the Pacific, Africa, Latin America... it’s expanding their diplomatic footprint, you know?

And then there was S Jaishankar, External Affairs Minister. He jumped in too, touching on the shift in India's foreign policy under Modi. Not just the surface stuff. He brought up handling major international crises evacuations in Ukraine, Afghanistan, Israel. That kind of management takes serious weight.

He talked about the practical side too. The mobility partnerships are huge; helping folks get jobs overseas is one thing. But government support for businesses entering new markets and boosting exports? That's another layer. And don’t forget the diaspora opening up those embassies, simplifying passport stuff, making it easier for people to deal with things... all that groundwork seems important now. It’s about managing complexity on a massive scale.
