Class 12 Results Delay: Students Approach Delhi High Court Against CBSE

Two Class 12 students went to the Delhi High Court. They did this through Advocate Vineet Jindal. The reason? CBSE apparently didn't declare their results even after a long time passed.

Jindal said they had tried all the administrative routes first. Exhausted them before asking for court help. The whole petition is asking the High Court to tell CBSE to finally declare those pending Class 12 marks.

It’s shocking, Jindal posted on X Sunday, July 19th. Some students are still waiting. While admissions to universities and other higher education places? They’re already happening. That delay… it puts their whole academic future, their career prospects it's all at risk.

He argued that not declaring the results shows serious problems. There must have been something wrong in the process. Students shouldn't be forced into constitutional courts just to get their exam scores.

The petition itself is asking for immediate directions from CBSE. They need those results, now. It’s listed for hearing today, July 20th.

Jindal put it all together. He said these two students approached the High Court because of this failure by CBSE. The waiting game is ridiculous when people are trying to get into colleges.

And there's the background noise from before. Remember the whole mess with the On-Screen Marking system for Class 12? That was a huge controversy over the last few months. After results came out in May, students started complaining online. Missing pages. Blurred scans. Discrepancies in how things were evaluated. Some even saw answer scripts that weren't theirs during copying.

The Board eventually started rechecking everything. Most of the students got their answer sheets back. But some? They still claim they haven’t received their revised marks yet. That part is still messy, I guess.
