Abhinav Shukla's Claim on Pornography and Global Warming
Abhinav Shukla, that TV actor and ex-Bigg Boss contestant, just stirred up some online chatter again. He made this claim that watching pornography actually contributes to global warming. It happened on the latest episode of the fourPOV podcast. He was chatting with his wife Rubina Dilaik, Hina Khan, and Rocky Jaiswal. Everyone on the show seemed genuinely surprised by what he brought up.
The conversation kicked off kind of randomly. It started with Dia Mirza talking about climate change. She had said patriarchy and men are mostly to blame for the whole climate crisis. Then, as things drifted, Abhinav dropped this unexpected opinion.
He just stated it: "The biggest cause, among many others, of global warming is watching porn."
Then he went on to explain why. He mumbled something about energy use. The amount of energy needed to produce that stuff and send it all over the world it has a huge carbon footprint. It’s way too much.

Rubina Dilaik also weighed in on that, pointing out the façade aspect. She questioned if they were just putting on a show. If you’re actually living separately, then pretending to be husband and wife with public appearances? That feels like a facade.

“If you’re living separately,” Rubina said, adding her perspective to the mix, “then making public appearances as husband and wife is just a façade.” It makes you wonder what all that public display really means then.
