Panshul Bansal's NEET 2026 Success Story and Study Routine

Panshul Bansal just hit the internet hard. Seriously. The moment he found out he snagged All India Rank 2 in NEET 2026 is completely melting hearts right now. It’s all over social media. An Instagram video from Allen Delhi caught the raw emotional celebration happening at home. You see him, sitting there with his family, just staring at the results popping up on the screen.

It wasn't just a quiet moment. Someone immediately jumped in. One family member just yelled out, “Yay! All India rank 2.” The room exploded. It was pure relief and joy watching that seventeen-year-old embrace everyone. That kind of stuff just goes viral, doesn’t it? People are commenting things like, “Congratulations champ,” or even saying something about Allen being the greatest.

But you have to remember this wasn't some overnight miracle. Behind that huge rank was a routine. It wasn't those endless textbook marathons everyone expects. When he talked to The Indian Express, Bansal actually explained how he managed it. He didn’t wake up right at the start. He usually woke up around 6:30 am, but then he just didn't dive straight into studying.

He took a long lunch break. Then he resumed in the afternoon. And later? He just went out to play before finally settling down for the evening study session. It sounds kind of messy, doesn't it? Not perfectly structured at all.

What really struck people about his process wasn't necessarily the hours spent studying. It was what he absolutely refused to cut back on. He said he didn’t compromise on spending time with family or just hanging out with friends. That seems like a huge anchor in that whole story.

And the exam itself, NEET-UG 2026 ? It was massive. The National Testing Agency put out some numbers. Nearly twenty lakh candidates actually showed up for it. And only about eleven point two one lakh qualified. That’s intense. More than fifty-eight percent of those who passed were women. And a huge chunk over ninety-three percent were taking the test for the very first time.

The NTA also gave some details on the scoring. About 138 candidates managed to score above 690 out of 720. Those top seventeen spots, those who scored over 705 marks? They came from a bunch of different places: Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana. It just shows how spread out the talent pool is, you know? Not everyone comes from the same narrow pipeline.
