School Dispute Turns into Violent Assault in Ankleshwar

A fight between two school kids in Ankleshwar apparently turned into a full-blown assault. It all started way back with the family of one student stopping two sisters on their way to tuition classes, and then things got seriously violent. They attacked them with a cricket bat and slippers.

This whole mess happened on July 15th near FDDI College Road in the Garden City area. Police finally arrested the main couple involved and started digging into it.

The complaint said that Sanskriti and Aakriti, daughters of chemical trader Mukesh Singh Sengar, were just heading to tuition on their Activa scooter. Then this family allegedly followed them in a car. They stopped right there, in front of the sisters' scooter. The confrontation kicked off because of some argument about their daughter the one who studied with the girls.

The accused family supposedly questioned the sisters. One of them asked something like, “Why do you fight with my daughter?” before everything exploded into physical violence.

Police said the father then grabbed a cricket bat from the car and handed it over. He allegedly used it to assault the sisters, hitting them on their heads, shoulders, and legs. The mother and grandmother reportedly added to the beating, using slippers against them.

It all happened out in the open, on the road. The sisters were attacked right there, in full public view. Then the family just got into the car and sped off after making threats.

Sanskriti recounted it herself. She said the family intercepted them while they were trying to get to tuition, following some earlier fight with another student.

“We were going for tuitions,” she told the police. “We fought with someone. Then his father came and hit us with a car. After that, they started hitting us directly.”

She added that the father, whom she identified as Deva bhai, struck them with that bat on their heads and legs. And the mother? She picked up her slippers to beat them.

Sanskriti also claimed the family was abusing her parents and threatening them during the whole assault. Eventually, the father took the injured sisters to the hospital. Then they filed a complaint at the Ankleshwar GIDC police station.

During the probe, things got interesting. Police found that the accused’s family had actually visited the sisters’ home first about the school dispute. When they didn't find the girls there, they allegedly tracked them down on the road and attacked them instead.

CCTV footage helped a lot in the investigation. They arrested Gurudev alias Dev Pritam Jesal and his wife, Bhavna Jesal. The car used for the attack and that cricket bat were also seized by the police.

ASP Bharuch Ajay Kumar Meena said they are still working on it. And here’s a part that sticks with you the case involves a minor girl and an elderly woman too.

Sanskriti was really demanding action. She insisted, “I want them to be punished severely.” But she also sounded scared about the repercussions for her own family.

“If they put pressure on us,” she said, clearly worried, “what will happen to us? No girl will be able to go out. We need our rights.” It really brought up how a simple school argument can spiral into something so brutal involving entire families.
