Viral Incident in Greater Noida: Woman Lying on Road Sparks Controversy

A clip surfaced recently, gone viral everywhere, showing some woman lying right in the middle of a busy road in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Allegedly, she was under the influence of alcohol when this happened. People are reacting hard to it, criticizing her for causing such a massive disruption and ruckus.

The incident itself reportedly happened earlier this month, down at Bisrakh police station. This woman, claimed to be about thirty-two, lives in some society nearby. She basically just lay down on the road in broad daylight. Refused to move. Traffic ground to a complete halt because of her. Just sitting there, refusing to budge.

In the video? She was wearing black and blue clothes. Lying there. Cars were honking all around. When the camera moved, you could see the sheer mess. A huge queue of vehicles totally stuck up. Massive jam created instantly by her just staying put. She had a cigarette in one hand, talking to someone nearby. And yeah, two bottles of alcohol were lying right next to her too.

People tried to get her moving. They were seen trying to persuade her to leave the road. But no luck. She just wouldn't move. Even when people kept asking, she refused to budge.

The video exploded online fast. People weren’t just shocked. There was this mix of anger, disbelief, and criticism floating around social media. Everyone started questioning how someone could be in that state in a public space. How did she manage it? And what about the actual danger for her, and for all those drivers stuck behind her?

One user posted something pretty harsh. It felt like pure outrage. They suggested some kind of solution: “Let her keep lying on the road only. Some big vehicle will come and make her free from all her tensions.” Another comment hit hard with gender politics. Something about fairness, you know? “True gender equality…why women should remain behind doing such road side free entertainment.”

Then there were some jokes that felt less like actual concern and more like pure mockery. Someone joked, “Choriya bhi choro se kam hay kya.” And then another person jumped in with something pointed: “Love to see women stepping up, in men dominated field.” It started getting really political, right there in the comments section.

There was even a comment that felt incredibly loaded. It brought up things about bias and law enforcement. Someone quipped, “This is what ultra pro max feminists want the whole country to look like. If a guy was doing this on the road, police launde ko marti, but nothing happens to girls because of biased laws.” It sort of shifted the focus entirely from the immediate situation to some deeper systemic issues about fairness and how things are handled for different groups. It just muddied the water completely.
